A Legacy of
Good Taste

We bring the recipes we grew up with – crisp dosas, Malabar biryani, Kerala meals on a banana leaf and freshly brewed filter coffee – to the city we now call home, served with the generous hospitality of the UAE.

  • Authentic Recipes

    Cooked the traditional way.

  • Fresh Every Day

    Fresh ingredients, ground spices.

  • Royal Hospitality

    Indian warmth, Arabian welcome.

The Experience

A Day at the Coffee House

Turn the pages of an ordinary, beautiful day – from the first cup at sunrise to the family table at night.

01 Morning

The First Cup

Coffee poured from tumbler to davara and back, from a height, until it froths – the way every morning begins in a South Indian home.

Strong, sweet and frothy – never rushed.

From Our Kitchen

Just the Way Amma Made It

In Indian homes, the best food was never rushed. Spices were roasted and ground, rice was rested, and the biryani was sealed in its pot and left to the fire until it was ready. That patience is the heart of our kitchen.

The Masala Dabba

Black Pepper

Kerala's “black gold” – the spice that first drew traders across the Arabian Sea.

Memories of Old Dubai

Where the City Began

Long before the towers, there was the Creek. Dhows from India tied up along the banks of Bur Dubai, and the scent of cardamom, coffee and spice drifted through the souks.

For Centuries

Across the Arabian Sea

Wooden dhows rode the monsoon winds between India's west coast and the Gulf, carrying spices, rice, timber and cloth.

Until 1966

The Gulf Rupee

The rupee, issued by the Reserve Bank of India, was everyday money in Dubai's markets and souks.

Old Bur Dubai

Lanes by the Creek

Beside the wind towers and the creek, Indian traders, tailors and cloth merchants filled the lanes of the old souk.

Today

The Story Continues

In the heart of Bur Dubai, the Indian Coffee House pours the next chapter – one cup at a time.
